Play in the patterns. Get lost in the scribbles and swirls. Excavate layer upon layer upon layer. Prance like a child in a rain shower through the puddles, drips and runs that characterize my work. Memories, lived experiences and a lifetime of mental images tucked away for future use spring to life in gesture, color and texture applied with joyous freedom and abandon. That's what I do when I paint.
